Can skiing get any better! The conditions are just awesome on the glacier at the moment. Grippy pistes, soft snow off piste..and to top the lot there is more snow forecast soon!

hEMEL hEMPSTEAD SNOW CENTRE OPENING!

The new indoor snow slope at Hemel Hempstead is OPEN! The superb design and fantastic snow at the centre offer a real Alpine feel to the complex. Just what skiers are looking for. Slope, cafe/bar and a Snow and Rock store. This is aimed at the skier/snowboarder and is run by attentive, helpful staff. If you live near you should go!

DISABILITY SNOWSPORTS UK

Disability Snowsport competitors, Basi Trainers and Sir Steve Redgrave

On July 10th 2009, Alex Leaf, Director World Class Skiing, along with Sir Steve Redgrave, with other celebrities, will be jumping out of an aircraft to raise money for the above charity. There will be 25 people jumping on the day. All this was presented as a challenge during the Crystal SDki Challenge week in Mayrhofen this March.

BASI LEVEL 1 COURSES NEW FOR 2008!

Have you ever wondered if your passion for skiing or snowboarding could lead to a career in snowsport instruction?  Well, now’s your chance!

World Class Skiing has partnered with the British Association of Snowsport Instructors to provide you with a new opportunity of being trained and assessed at a dry slope, to see if you have what it takes!  These ground-breaking courses were previously only available ‘on snow’, but can now be undertaken in five days in the UK.

The first courses start at the end of September, at John Nike’s Alpine Park in Plymouth.  See www.worldclassskiing.net for details.
